JOVITA KASPERAVICIUTE

My name is Jovita Kasperavičiūtė. I am an 18 year old euphonium player from Lithuania. When I was just 8 years old of age, I started learning music and quickly fell in love with the sound of euphonium. In 2015, I started learning to play the euphonium with first ever teacher - Jurgis Dapšauskas. In 2021, I continued studying in the National M. K. Čiurlionis school of arts. Despite being very young and not even starting my bachelors studies yet, I have already performed in various countries including the UK, Estonia, Italy, Sweden, Germany and many more! I am a laureate of many competitions. This includes the 3rd Young Performers Competition “GENIUS ARTS” (GRAND PRIX), youth wind instruments competition “Muzikos uostas 2023” (1st place), 4th national brass soloist competition “Vario garsai” 1st place (twice in 2019 and in 2023) and many more!

I actively participate in chamber music festivals and competitions and play in many orchestras including symphony orchestras, wind and fanfare orchestras, big bands and brass bands. In 2024, me and my brass band “Brass LT” won the champion title after becoming 1st in the challenge section of the European Brass Band Championship. In 2024, I’ve also performed as a soloist with the National M. K. Čiurlionis school of arts symphony orchestra. The full performance is found on @jovitakasper_euph youtube. Aside from constantly playing solos with orchestras, bands and still studying in high school, from 2022, I actively post bits of my practise sessions and concerts on my instagram account - @jovitakasper_euph Finally, In 2024 I am very happy to be announce as a junior artist for AR resonance.
